Welcome to the Bratislava Fecht webpage!

Bratislava Fecht III or abridged fecht_BA vol. IV is the first international HEMA tournament in Slovakia. The tournament is organized for the fourth year by Bratislavský šermiarsky spolok (Bratislava Fencing Society) under the patronage of the Slovak Federation of Historical European Martial Arts (FEBUS).

The tournament will take place on Saturday April 14th 2018 from 8:00 to 18:00 in the main hall belonging to Dom Športu (House of Sports), Junácka 6, Bratislava. More information about the venue and schedule can be found here.

The tournament will host the following categories:

• Longsword Open – using the standardized SFHEMA rules
• Longsword Women – using the standardized SFHEMA rules
• Rapier and Dagger Open – using the standardized SFHEMA rules
• Sword and Buckler – using the standardized SFHEMA rules

The number of participants for the individual disciplines is limited. Please if you plan to attend do not hesitate to register as soon as possible. The registration was closed relatively soon last year since the limit was reached in less than three weeks.

Entry fee:

Tournament participants: 20€ for the first category, +15€ for the second, +10€ for the third.

The entry fee includes: organizational costs (venue, prizes), refreshments (coffee, tea, soft drinks, fruit, bagels – for the contestants, sweets, etc.).

Afterparty:

Tournament entry fee also includes a ticket for the afterparty, which will take place at 19:00 in the pub Čierny pes, Na vŕšku 2, Bratislava. The organizer will provide the participants with a yummy dinner.
